Captain Beefheart died. One of the stupidest things I ever did [I should start a blog of all the stupid things I've ever done. Note to self.] was to blow off tickets to see him in December 1981. I figured I'd have plenty of chances, but of course he never toured again so that was it. Here are a handful of his more "accessible" tracks, as they say, from Safe as Milk and Spotlight Kid.
